If you love Italian, cheesy, meaty goodness, this Three Meat Cheesy Pasta Bake is comfort food at it’s finest. Three different kinds of meat mixed with plenty of tomato sauce and gooey cheese. This dish is super rich so you don’t need to eat too much but the combinations are delicious!
Ingredients
- 1 pound pasta shape of choice
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 1/2 lb. link spicy sausage
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 24 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 tablespoon beef boullion paste
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper freshly ground
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese fresh grated
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions to al dente. Toss with oil and spoon into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Slice the link sausage into 1/4 inch thick slices.
- Cook ground beef and sausage with the onion and garlic in a skillet until no longer pink, usually 5 to 6 minutes. Add the sliced sausage to the mixture and continue to cook until golden brown. Drain excess grease and return to skillet.
- Add spaghetti sauce, beef bouillon paste and tomato paste to the meat mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper and Italian seasoning.
- Top the noodles in the pan with the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle with the parmesan and mozzarella.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until hot and bubbly. Garnish with parsley, basil or green onions
