Peanut Butter Fudge Bars

By September 13, 2017August 31st, 2023No Comments

These Peanut Butter Fudge Bars were the hit of our community bake sale this past week. They are kind of a mixture between a brownie, a blondie and a peanut butter bar. The sweet and salty combination with the soft, fudgey center is completely addicting. The cookie dough portion is so soft, moist and buttery. Really, the entire combination of flavors and textures is a new favorite dessert recipe. If you love peanut butter and chocolate you will love this recipe!

Can’t wait for you to give these a try! Enjoy 😉

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 cup oats
  • FILLING:
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 12oz. bag chocolate chips
  • 1 can sweetened and condensed milk
  • 2 tsp. peanut butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  • For oat crust, cream butter, peanut butter, sugar and eggs together. Then add the flour, baking soda, salt and oats. Put ½ of the dough flat on the bottom of a 9x13 pan and spread evenly to all sides. For fudge filling, put the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, peanut butter and salt in a small sauce pan. Cook on low heat until chips are completely melted. Pour fudge filling on top of the bottom oat crust. Place flattened out pieces of the remaining oat dough on top of the fudge filling. There will not be enough dough to cover the entire top of the fudge filling, just sporadically space them on the top. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
