Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

You are going to love these cookies! If you are a fan of peanut butter and chocolate together, these are soon going to be your favorite. These are a chewy, soft, rich chocolatey cookie.  Best part about these cookies is that nearly EVERY ingredient you need for these are on sale this week. 

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 5-5 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 Tbs. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 12 oz. bag milk chocolate chips
  • 1 12 oz. bag peanut butter chocolate chips


  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, blend the butter until smooth and fluffy on medium speed. When the butter is ready, it will turn a light, white color. Add the peanut butter and sugar. Continue to mix until the sugar/butter mixture is smooth. Add the vanilla and eggs and continue to mix. Add the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt and then flour. Mix just until combined. Add the chocolate chips to the batter and mix.
  • Onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, spoon golf ball sized dough balls onto the sheet. Put 12 cookies on each cookie sheet. Bake for 6-8 minutes, or until the tops of the cookies begin to crack. Remove from the oven and cool on a cooling rack. Serve warm or wait unitl they cool.


*Recipe is fairly large. Makes about 4 dozen cookies. Recipe can be easily halved.
