My friend Ellen is the master of using fresh, healthy ingredients to make masterpieces in her kitchen. Sometimes you don’t have to use exotic ingredients to make your recipe feel special. I love the way she used chia seeds and oatmeal to make a breakfast that is nothing but extraordinary. Thanks Ellen from MyNovaVita for another great recipe!

Instant Oatmeal Chia Pudding Cereal

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup instant oats
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp swerve you can omit if you don't have it
  • 1 tbsp flax meal
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey

Instructions

  • Heat almond milk until steaming, mix in oats, chia, swerve, flax & swerve. Stir for 3 minutes over medium high heat. Turn off heat, cover with lid and let set for 10 minutes. Stir in vanilla and maple syrup and top with fresh fruit & toppings of your choice
