Balsamic Onion Jam on Baguettes

Before the weekend comes and you are all busily planning your Game Day-Super Bowl Menu, I wanted to share another amazing appetizer recipe! Hands down, the most popular appetizer on our blog is for our Candied Tomato Cream Cheese Baguettes–and it’s no wonder, they are FABULOUS! Well, the other day I was at a restaurant and they had a Red Onion Balsamic Jam they were spreading on some homemade bread. I about fell off my chair with glee. The flavors were out of this world. Savory, sweet, a little tangy and oh, so yummy!

I knew I had to go home and recreate this sandwich and jam. I decided to throw this balsamic red onion spread over baguette toast with a smear of cream cheese and the combo was a perfect 10! The next day I had leftovers of the jam (which you will want as well) and I threw it on a bagel sandwich with some grilled chicken, a slice of pepperjack cheese and arugula. How do you spell….YUM!?!?
