Every time my family visits my Aunt Nancy’s house in California she always loves to share with us some of her newest recipes she has tried. She is an amazing cook and loves to play around with recipes to see if she can make them a little healthier. She knew we are big fans of no-bake cookies and so she was excited to share with us this recipe for ‘Healthier’ No-Bake cookies. The traditional no-bake cookie recipes calls for a lot of granulated sugar and butter. This recipe however has NO white sugar and NO butter. Crazy huh?!? These cookies are not overly sweet which is nice for a change. They are actually quite protein filled and packed with just enough sweetness from the chocolate chips to satisfy any sweet tooth. With the milled flax seed and the oats, it is a delicious way to add a little fiber to your diet too…and they will help fill up the kids to keep them satisfied with fewer cookies. These are a keeper for sure! Thanks Nancy 🙂
