Easy Fresh Salsa

By August 22, 2011No Comments

Garden harvest is in full swing. I have been loving going up to my garden and being able to pick fresh tomatoes, peppers, onions, broccoli, zucchini, yellow squash, string beans, carrots, and sugar snap peas. It’s like having your own farmer’s market in your own back yard. One of the best things to make with your fresh garden tomatoes and peppers is a quick fresh salsa. This salsa recipe is chunky and totally fresh. This salsa goes great on our Carne Asada Tacos or eat it plain with tortilla chips. If you are new to gardening, try planting next year a salsa garden. In a very small space you can grow everything you need for your own homemade salsa–tomatoes, jalapeno peppers, cilantro and onions. Give it a try..it’s fun!!
