While we were back East this summer we went to a restaurant that served the best taco pizza. Every time I see taco pizza at a buffet I am leery of giving it a try. Not sure that’s a combo that should be together. I thought that anyway, until I gave it a try. It ended up being all of our favorite pizza and couldn’t get enough of it. I was in a pinch to make dinner the other night and realized I had some frozen pita bread in my freezer (from Costco–love that stuff) and some frozen, pre-cooked taco meat in my freezer. I whipped together these Pita Taco Pizzas and they were a big hit for all of us. Nothing fancy, just good, cheesy, delicious flavor on a soft, pita crust.
