  • 1 lb. ground turkey
  • 1/2 red onion diced small
  • 1/4 cup fresh pineapple diced
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce (or you can use Thrive tomato powder & water)
  • 1 Tbs. Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • 1 Tbs. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbs. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • Pineapple Salsa:
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple diced small
  • 1/2 red onion diced
  • 3 Tbs. cilantro chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper diced
  • Street Taco Flour Tortillas

  • Prep the ingredients for the pineapple salsa by dicing a fresh pineapple, chopping the red onion, cilantro, jalapeno pepper and red bell pepper. Set aside some of the pineapple for the beef mixture. Place in a bowl and toss. Salt the salsa as you wish and you can even add some lime juice too if you'd like. Let the salsa rest while you make the turkey mixture. Dice the red onion for the meat mixture. In a saute pan, bring a pan to medium-high heat. Add the olive oil to the pan. Add the red onions and saute until tender. Add the ground turkey to the onions and brown. Add the seasonings to the turkey as well as the diced pineapple. Add the tomato sauce or tomato powder with water and simmer with meat. Warm the tortillas and add some cooked turkey ground meat to the taco and top with the pineapple salsa. Serve warm.
